HardieShingle

Emulating the look of real cedar shingles, New HardieShingle Individual Shingles and Panels from James Hardie have been reengineered to provide an authentic wood grain appearance. The siding is also Engineered for Climate and offers low maintenance and durability. Both individual shingles and panels are now available preprimed and with ColorPlus Technology.

Stormwatch Hurricane Screens

StormWatch hurricane screens provide an effective and aesthetically pleasing way to be prepared and meet hurricanes code requirements. The fabric hurricane screens are designed to blend in with the exterior design of a home or business. The color can conceal the shutter in its non-deployed state or accent the look of the house. The covers are available in hundreds of colors that protect the screen from the sun, and allow the shutters to blend into the décor of the home.

EnerGen

The EnerGen Photovoltaic Solar Power Roofing System from CertainTeed features integrated Uni-Solar thin-film laminates, the world leader in flexible solar modules, that seamlessly integrate with traditional asphalt roofing shingles. The system’s lightweight design requires no rooftop penetrations, making it easier for contractors to install while maintaining roof deck integrity. The laminates lie flush with the remainder of the traditional roofing shingles, providing a streamlined, visually appealing appearance.

Tech-Plank

Tech-Wood’s Tech-Plank wood composite siding is made from the company’s patented Wood 2.0 material, which is composed of 75 percent long-strand pinewood fibers and 25 percent virgin polypropylene, providing a strong, water-resistant product that is guaranteed for 50 years. Tech-Plank has the mechanical properties of real wood and can be cut, routed, drilled, nailed, and sanded, and requires no special tools or delicate handling. Available in 12- and 16-foot lengths.

American Essence Insulated Siding

Insulated siding can increase your wall systems’ R-value by as much as 25 percent. NAPCO by Ply Gem combines vinyl siding and closed-cell expanded polystyrene foam insulation for that extra level of comfort for your homeowners. American Essence is available in 14 standard colors and four Premium Signature Series Colors with extra UV and sun protection.

NeverFade

APV Engineered Coatings has introduced NeverFade paint, warranted to last 15 years against fading. The professional exterior paint is formulated with Kynar Aquatec polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) to make it resistant to fading, algae, fungus, stains, and abrasions. NeverFade can be applied to vinyl siding, PVC, wood, aluminum siding, stucco, masonry, and fiber cement surfaces.

Quest Super Long Length Siding

Mastic Home Exteriors by Ply Gem’s Quest Super Long Length premium vinyl siding is more than twice as long as standard 12-foot panels, providing builders and remodelers with the ability to reduce or eliminate unsightly seams. Quest premium vinyl siding is now available in three lengths to maximize an efficient installation: 12-, 16-, and 25-foot panels. Available in 22 colors.

Opus Roof Blanket

The Opus Roof Blanket from Propex is a new category of steep-slope roofing underlayment that uses proprietary blanket technology that replaces felt paper and plastic sheet. It protects against moisture and winds, even in severe storm conditions, gripping tight to fasteners. Opus can be used for asphalt, cedar shake, tile, and metal roofing projects. It has the Opus 30/30 guarantee, which says the underlayment can go uncovered for 30 months and will endure 30 years after being covered with roofing materials.

WINTeQ Window Installation System

OSI’s WINTeQ Window Installation System gives contractors a complete system of compatible products that takes the guesswork out of replacement window installation. All WINTeQ products have been tested to work together without compromising the performance of the overall system.

PowerHouse Shingle

Dow’s PowerHouse Shingle installs and performs like a standard asphalt shingle while collecting energy from the sun. Made of a cost-effective and durable PV material called CIGS (copper indium gallium diselenide), the product has a similar reveal, weight, and installation process as asphalt shingles. Electrical circuitry is integrated into each shingle, and the shingles are connected by wireless plug-style connectors.

Premium Plus Ultra Exterior Enamel

Behr’s Premium Plus Ultra Exterior Enamel features the company’s Nanoguard, which provides extra protection against damage from sunlight, moisture, stains, and dirt. The paint and primer in one is suitable for use in all weather climates and can be used on wood, vinyl, aluminum, fiber cement siding, doors, windows, trim, shutters, garage doors, outdoor furniture, railing, and wrought iron.
