Making payments on a 3-bedroom property is more affordable than paying fair market rent on a 3-bedroom property in 188 of 285 counties, a study by RealtyTrac found.
Among the counties with populations of more than 400,000 people, Business Insider lists the markets where a homebuyer would save at least 10 percent more than renters.
The counties include Cuyahoga County in the Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor metro area, Ohio, and Volusia County in the Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach metro area, Florida.
