Home prices in the U.S. just hit a record last month, but when the pace is compared with other markets around the world, home price growth has slowed considerably.
Data from the Global Property Guide shows that European home prices have been surging, and several other markets in the Pacific are seeing price jumps as high as 7.85 percent year-over-year.
Wealth blog Early to Rise lists the top 9 hottest markets around the world right now. Here are the first five:
- Ireland, 17.57 percent increase year-over-year
- Hong Kong, 14.37 percent increase year-over-year
- Estonia, 9.59 percent increase year-over-year
- Sweden, 8.79 percent increase year-over-year
- Israel, 8.26 percent increase year-over-year
