AERT MoistureShield Pro Capstock deck fastener

July 24, 2015
This article first appeared in the PB July 2015 issue of Pro Builder.

AERT has expanded its family of outdoor living products with a new deck fastener that complements its line of MoistureShield Pro Capstock decking. According to the company, the hidden fasteners install up to 10 times quicker than traditional surface fasteners and attach deck boards more securely. The clips also elevate boards off joists to allow air to circulate, reducing joist rot. The fasteners are available as part of a complete system that covers 50 square feet of decking, or as a pack that covers 250 square feet. Screws or pneumatic fasteners are included with both size options. A non-rusting aluminum alloy railing and deck lights have also been released as part of the product expansion.
