The New Home Co., the developers behind the Cannery project in Davis, Calif., are unveiling plans for 15 acres of commercial development.
According to the Sacramento Business Journal, the area will have two components: a light-industrial and office space development, and a more neighborhood-focused area with groceries, pharmacies, and a coffee house.
“In total, the project calls for 171,000 square feet of commercial development, spread over 22 buildings. Those buildings would be one or two stories, and both sides are arranged in a sideways horseshoe shape, with parking in the middle,” the article says.
