Comstock Homes of Washington, LC announced the opening of its latest community. Located at 6000 New Hampshire Ave., The Hampshires is a community of 111 single-family homes and town homes in the Lamond-Riggs neighborhood in Northeast Washington, D.C.
"We are excited about the opening of this tremendous new community, our first in downtown Washington, D.C. It represents the launch of our new City-Style line of homes," said Maggie Parker, spokesperson for Comstock Homes of Washington, LC. "Demand for new homes in this area is apparent, as demonstrated by our early sales in the single family section of The Hampshires community. We look forward to opening the townhome section in the coming months."
The property, which was once home to a farm, an orphanage, and a health facility, now houses 37 single-family homes and 73 townhomes, built around an open green space. The single-family homes feature four and five bedrooms and up to 2,700 square feet on three levels. The town homes feature three and four bedrooms and up to 1,700 square feet of living space.
