IKO expanded its line of residential asphalt roofing shingles to include IKO Cambridge Cool Colors. The laminate shingles feature a coating embedded with granules that reflects more solar energy and heat than standard roofing shingles. The “Advantage” size provides 12 percent larger exposure, making the shingles easier to install. There are four colors: Dual Grey, which is available nationwide, and Arctic White, Desert Gold, and Valley Oak, which all can be found in California. IKO Cambridge Cool Colors are engineered to meet the California Energy Commission Building Standards Code, Title 24.
