Contemporary architecture and design often calls for large, energy-efficient windows with uninterrupted expanses of glass. To meet this need, Marvin Windows and Doors has added larger sizes to its Contemporary Casements and Awnings, Ultimate Casements and Awnings, and Ultimate Replacement Casements and Awnings. The new sizes are available on clad-wood windows featuring Marvin’s extruded aluminum cladding with 70 percent Kynar finish. The Contemporary Casement, Ultimate Casement, and Ultimate Replacement Casement are now available in the maximum sizes of 36 by 102 inches, 40 by 961/8 inches, and 44 by 911/8 inches. Meanwhile the Awning windows’ maximum sizes are 64 by 811/8 inches and 96 by 481/8 inches for all three styles with an additional size of 72 by 72 inches for the Ultimate Awning.
