The NuBryteTouchpoint, from LUCIS Technologies, does a bit of everything. The all-in-one smart home device has touch-free lighting controls with automatic settings where lights gradually dim at night and brighten slowly in the morning. For vacations, the system turns lights on and off in a realistic pattern to make it appear that someone is home. For security, NuBryte has built-in motion detectors and it sends live video to smartphones. The NuBryte also has a family calendar that keeps track of appointments, an energy use monitor, a weather tracker that sends alerts, and a home intercom that allows users to communicate from room to room. The device has a 5-inch touchscreen with a wide-angle video camera and microphone.
