A new survey released this week by Absolute Strategy Research reveals that for the first time since 2009, more households say they feel secure about their financial situation than those that don’t, according to the Wall Street Journal.
In addition, the study found 83 percent of workers are very or fairly confident in their job security.
While the shift is encouraging, 30 percent of consumers said they believe the economy is still in a recession or depression, and nearly three-quarters believe the federal government isn’t doing enough to help.
