A new partnership between Builder Homesite Inc. and SalesSimplicity.net is designed to ensure that the two companies' software will integrate seamlessly.
Builder Homesite, a consortium of builders that develops software products, can send leads, in real time or batch, directly into sales-automation programs by SalesSimplicity.net. Conversely, SalesSimplicity.net gains access to the consortium via sales opportunities, custom-packaged product offerings and enhancements, and best-practices educational training.
"We made a commitment, which had no commercial gain for either one of us, to technically and seamlessly integrate these products," says Tim Costello, chairman and CEO of Builder Homesite. "We feel builders will be better served if software vendors collaborate. Everyone's software should talk and integrate seamlessly. Builders should be able to buy whatever software they want. Once a builder makes an investment in a particular line of software, to make him switch is a crime."
