The Exotic Series of hardwood flooring from Preverco uses hardwood from areas of South America and Africa, including Brazilian Cherry/Jatoba, Santos/Cabreuva, Sapele and Tigerwood. The Brazilian Cherry has a reddish-brown tone and is offered in three colors: natural, bourbon and espresso. The Exotic Series is available in 3¼-inch widths in both engineered and solid hardwood. Inspired by the worn look of the Caribbean style wood shutters, the Havana flooring tile line from Mediterranea is available in 6- by 24-inch and 12- by 24-inch sizes in five colors: sugarcane, cohiba, mambo, tobacco and tropicana. The CushionStep flexible flooring alternative from Armstrong is meant to flex with foot traffic with the company's CushionCore technology. It is protected by the VisionGuard urethane wear layer. Three new flooring designs from Oskosh's signature collection includes the Ashanti, a stone and metal inlay inspired by ancient African cultures; the Del Sol, an inlay of exotic woods representing the universe as viewed by Pre-Columbian cultures; and the Devotion, an inlay composed of stone and colored glass inspired by the spirituality of Eastern religions.

The pre-finished wood stairs and hand rails from Stairtek include wood treads, risers and hand rails that, according to the company, match the colors of pre-finished hardwood floors. The product is delivered in a protective layer of hardboard covered with water-resistant cardboard.
