Nationally, there was a good balance between supply from sellers and demand from buyers, but locally, most markets leaned in favor of either sellers or buyers, HousingWire reports.
RealtyTrac released a list of the top 10 markets for sellers and buyers. Alameda, Calif., tied at number one with San Francisco for sellers. Homes there sold for 108 percent of market value. The District of Columbia was third, where homes sell for 107 percent.
Among the buyer-friendly markets are St. Louis, which ranked first with a 77 percent sale price of market value, followed by Baltimore, where homes sell for 78 percent of market value.
