Simpson Strong-Tie will feature a number of new products at the 2012 BCMC show in New Orleans, Oct. 17 to 19, at booth 303, including the Integrated Component Systems line.

This line includes Simpson Strong-Tie Component Solutions software for roof and floor trusses and wall panels, along with a full line of code-listed truss connector plates.

Component Solutions software is a program providing manufacturers with the tools they need to design and manufacture trusses. Within the software, designers can model structures in a 3-D environment, create and optimize truss and panel designs, send truss design information to the company for engineering seals and more. The company is working closely with users to expand functionality of the software on an ongoing basis.

The company will also showcase its new truss hangers, which will be available Jan. 1, 2013: the HTHGQ Heavy Girder Truss Hanger, HTHMQ Heavy Multiple Truss Hanger, and the HHSUQ Heavy Severe Skew Truss Hanger.

In addition to new products, the company will also showcase its structural wood screws—the Strong-Drive SDW and SDWC—which are currently available.
