Toll Brothers is hoping to restore the glory of the Millionaire John Du Pont’s former estate west of Philadelphia by building luxury homes there.
Toll Brothers senior vice president Brian Thierrin, who oversees the development, tells the Wall Street Journal that the high-profile murder case at the estate in 1996 (depicted in the recent movie Foxcatcher), hadn’t turned any buyers away. “There are vistas that were left untouched,” Thierrin says. “You can imagine what it was like in the heyday of the estate.”
