The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is an annual gathering of tech experts and journalists that will likely focus on augmented reality, 5G, and transportation tech.
Business Insider's Steve Kovach anticipates that voice-controlled digital assistants and devices have become ubiquitous, and that many companies will be 'scrambling to catch up' with Google's Alexa. He added that many companies will also be unveiling new augmented reality concepts and devices, however, Kovach argues that augmented reality is a bubble ready to burst this year.
Ford, Mercedes, Toyota, and just about every other major car manufacturer not only participate in CES, their displays have been taking up more and more of the showroom floor each year. If there's one CES trend that has flourished in recent years, it's the marriage of tech and transportation.
