The Kitchen/Bath Industry Show last month in Chicago revealed an overwhelming trend: Over-the-counter sinks are big in bathrooms, especially powder rooms. Also called overmount bowls, basins and vessels, the sinks come in surprising materials, shapes and colors and can be set on traditional countertops as well as pedestals and furniture pieces.
