One of the most familiar names in security -- Brink’s -- is looking to become the one-stop solution for home automation. Brink's Home Security's National Builder Operations Group today announced expanded services designed to assist builders by offering a one-stop source for security and low voltage products. In addition to its home security systems, Brink's now also offers home theater systems, multiple room sound systems, structured wiring systems, intercom systems, satellite television systems, and phone/cable wiring.

"We have added new home security products and brand name low voltage products to become a total low voltage provider to builders", comments Steve Neace, senior vice president/field operations. "Brink's Home Security has provided security related services to builders for over 10 years. The expanded services will be installed by Brink's IQ (Installation Quality) certified technicians. As a value added service provider, Brink's has built a reputation for high-quality products and on-time installation service, saving our builder customers time and money."

More information on Brink's Home Security can be found at www.brinks.com. Brink's Home Security, which was formed in 1983, has more than 640,000 customers in over 85 of the largest major metropolitan areas in 42 states, Washington, D.C., British Columbia and Alberta, Canada and employs about 2,400 people. Brink's Home Security, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Pittston Company.
