Clayton Homes is opening a facility in Westmoreland, Tenn., set to begin operations in 2020, to manufacture trusses and wall panels for site-built single- and multifamily homes.
The Associated Press and Bradenton Herald report that Clayton's facility is expected to cost $14 million and create 110 new jobs in the area.
Clayton is one of the largest home builders in the nation and currently employs about 5,400 people in Tennessee. It's a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
