California has been hot in June. And the temperature is high, too.
Realtor.com examined new data on inventory and user activity on its site and found the 20 hottest housing markets in the U.S., based on the most views per listing and the quickest inventory movement. Eleven of cities were in sunny California.
Vallejo earned the No. 1 spot, and San Francisco was No. 2. Both cities had the same rankings in May. Other California cities in the top 20 included San Diego (No. 5), Modesto (No. 9), and Santa Cruz (No. 15).
