Available in 36- and 42-inch sizes, the Carolina outdoor gas fireplace from Hearth & Home Technologies is approved for use in screened porches, gazebos, and lanais. The IntelliFire Plus intermittent pilot ignition comes standard and can save homeowners up to $10 a month on utility bills. A battery backup makes the fireplace operable during power outages. The FireBrick technology helps the fireplace produce 25 percent more radiant heat than metal fireboxes.
