In My Own Words

"Hardiplank has the look of lap siding. In our market, we have a fair amount of architectural style that utilizes that [lap siding], and it is the most affordable material to sheet our houses with. Compared with, say, stucco or stone, Hardiplank is much cheaper. It resists mold, has much less shrinking and swelling, as well as a long-term warranty. It also achieves a higher level of fire rated construction because it is a concrete fiber material."
