The “living” finish—an oxidized version of the manufacturer’s White Bronze—is responsive to temperature and humidity fluctuations during production, so each batch will have a distinctive appearance.

The Bullet & Stone Collection from Australian company Designer Doorware marries concrete and metal in door handles and round knob profiles, melding hot and cold aesthetics and offering a unique tactile experience. The solid brass fittings that back each concrete form are finished in either Florentine Bronze (in a Medium or Dark tone), Polished Nickel, or Satin Black Chrome. Custom finishes for the concrete are available by request.

According to smart home security manufacturer Maximus Lighting, the Answer DualCam Video Doorbell is the first and currently the only dual-camera smart doorbell. The unit uses a 1,080-pixel HDR camera to eliminate blind spots at the top and bottom of the camera view, offering a 155-degree field of vision. The front-facing speaker plays messages and custom greetings, allowing two-way communication, and can be controlled via the Kuna app to view and speak to visitors, dial 911, or ring an alarm.

The INOX brand Surface Mount Barn Door Lock is billed by Unison Hardware as the first such lock crafted specifically for barn doors. With a design based on builder feedback requesting easier and quicker installation, the manufacturer touts a 15-minute install time with this product. The lock also is available in an ADA option (shown), which features a longer one-touch thumb lever to activate the 1-inch bolt-locking mechanism.
