The Wall Street Journal profiles three prefabricated homes in Europe and their manufacturers.

Though long available in Germany, the U.S., and Scandinavia, the concept is still new in the United Kingdom and has only started becoming popular in the past decade. “It’s like Lego,” one British prefab homeowner told the Wall Street Journal. “The neighbors were fascinated.”
