As spa-like bathrooms grow in popularity, these seven shower features can add value to a master bath.

The seven features suggested by Realtor.com include some intuitive upgrades, such as additional shower heads and no-transition entries, as well as some surprises, like radiant floor heating and improved lighting. Other items on the list include tech, like bathroom TVs and smart mirrors, and decorative elements like accent walls.

"Dramatic spa-inspired showers are replacing plain tubs and, at over $13 billion in 2018, showers now capture the most money spent on residential bathrooms," says Elle H-Millard, resident designer at the National Kitchen + Bath Association.
