A 60-year old home in Boulder, Colo., was retrofitted to make it net zero energy. While more homes are being raised to more sustainable standards, few have been able to reach net zero due to high costs. The owners of this house replaced all of their original 1954 windows and made other upgrades to reach carbon neutrality.
