Sixty-one percent of buyers closed on their new homes on time.

June 01, 2002

Sixty-one percent of buyers closed on their new homes on time. The remaining 39% were delayed by one week to five months, with most of the delays taking from one week to two months to resolve. While most new homes are delivered on time, the number and extent of delayed closings are high considering the negative effect missed deadlines can have on buyers.
