Atlantic City has plenty of entertainment options, from the beach and boardwalk to the casinos, nightclubs, and restaurants. Even with all of its buzz, the city still has houses that can be purchased for a good price.
Redfin ranked the 15 most affordable beach towns for real estate, and Atlantic City, with a median home sales price of $52,250, ranked first. Other metrics including Walk Score, price per square foot, and percentage of homes on the waterfront were also factored in.
Four Florida cities — Miami, Clearwater, West Palm Beach, and Daytona Beach — round out the top five. Only one city along the Pacific shore made the list, with Oxnard, Calif., at No. 15.
