Louisiana's State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) and the Contractors’ Education Trust Fund (CETF) have donated $254,300.84 to the University of Louisiana Monroe School of Construction Management. That funding will enable the department to enhance facilities, technology, and student experiences, ULM says.

The School of Construction Management boasts a 100% licensing exam passage rate and a 100% job placement rate, with high starting salaries for graduates. Director Dr. Clint Martin hopes to use the donation to further modernize the program and boost enrollment.

“The construction industry in Louisiana does so much to give back,” said Michael McDuff, Executive Director of the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. “The LSLBC is a vehicle for this donation. This is all coming from the leadership of the construction industry,” he added.

Dr. Michelle McEacharn, Dean of the College of Business and Social Sciences, noted an increase in Construction Management enrollment this semester and also thanked the LSLBC and CETF, saying “you have set an example for others.”
