Cornerstone Building Brands’ Home for Good project ambassador and country music star Tyler Hubbard recently participated in a Home for Good project / Habitat for Humanity build in Columbia, Tenn.
Hubbard has collaborated with Cornerstone Building Brands since August 2022 to raise awareness about Home for Good, which supports affordable housing projects for families in need through product donations, house builds, community events, and more.
"The national housing crisis has reached historic heights, leaving many families without safe and affordable homes to call their own – something everyone deserves," the company says. "The Home for Good project enables Cornerstone Building Brands to turn its passion for making affordable, quality products into a mission to help those in need."
The homes that have been built or repaired as part of the Home for Good project are purchased by families and individuals partnering with local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. To date, the Home for Good project has provided more than 5,200 windows, 5,600 cartons of siding, and 4,400 cartons of shutters totaling more than $3.1 million in exterior building products to build or remodel over 670 Habitat for Humanity homes in more than 90 communities.
"We have provided product to help build more than 40 homes in 2023 and will be ramping up even further in the second half of the year," Cornerstone Building Brands says.
