5 states with the most middle class inequality
CNNMoney lists the five states with the biggest differences in middle class incomes by comparing median income by county.
Top of the list is Virginia, where the median income of Loudoun County, home to Washington Dulles International Airport and a suburb of Washington D.C., is four times more than the median income of Buchanan County, a struggling, former coal-mining county in the southwestern portion of the state.
