Having a master planned community alone is not enough; it's essential for master planned community owners to maximize profits through effective segmentation. In strategizing for 2023, John Burns Real Estate Consulting's (JBREC) New Home Trends Institute offers master plan execution insights for a more difficult sales environment. 

A recent survey by the New Home Trends Institute supports the sentiment that in a more competitive housing market, consumers see advantages in master planned communities (MPCs), with 95% of the homeowners and single-family renters surveyed by the Institute expecting homes in MPCs to hold their value as well as, if not better than, others in a market downturn.
