Air Purifier | UV Resources

October 13, 2015
This article first appeared in the PB October 2015 issue of Pro Builder.

The 24-volt Hornet ultraviolet (UV-C) lamp fixture from UV Resources improves air flow and heat-exchange efficiency levels, which can, in turn, reduce energy use. The unit’s 20-watt ultraviolet lamp emits a germicidal ‘C’-type wavelength to break down microorganisms that lessen HVAC system efficiency. The fixture also provides clean air and is easy to install in residential applications of up to 5 tons. The Hornet comes with everything required for installation: a ballast, lamp, sticker template, mounting ring, soft duct mounting plate, hole saw, and wall adapter that converts 120V to 24V power.
