Are you ready for PCBC 2015?

June 12, 2015
PCBC in San Diego

Have you made your flight arrangements, booked your hotel and reserved your spot for PCBC in San Diego yet? This year’s PCBC promises to be another solid line-up of new ideas, products and topics designed to make attendees smarter, better and more competitive – from the corner office right down to the jobsite.

Get smart(er) with these sessions

The big buzzword in homebuilding these days is “big data.” We all know how important using data is to help stay in touch with what your customers want, so how can builders capture that data better and smartly use it? One session, “The Power to Predict: Leveraging Big Data and Consumer Intelligence,” answers many of your questions. Discover how applying big data and consumer intelligence can help you better understand customer behavior, identify unexpected opportunities, and anticipate trends before they happen.

As the definition of family changes, buyers want different amenities and differently designed homes than previous generations. Another session, “Masterplan 2020: The Next Generation of Master Planned Communities,” looks at how the term “traditional families” no longer applies. What does the next generation of homebuyers want? Panelists will discuss how masterplans of the future are being reimagined and redesigned to offer homes and services to a broad spectrum of buyers, as well as what amenities and designs are being offered to create the ultimate community.

Most builders are smart, and some even have genius ideas. One of those ideas is being able to design the same project, in different locations and for different market segments and be successful in all of them. Attend “Innovation in the Real World: The Case for Practical Genius in Homebuilding” to find out the secrets from these successful builders first hand. You’ll learn the basics, such as product type, price, location and quality. Also explored will be style, livability, unique features and using surprising touches to create excitement that differentiates these successful builders from their competition.

Innovations in the Exhibit Hall

Between these sessions and the many more being held, you’ll want to visit the new Smarter Home Showcase, Theater and Show Home in the Exhibit Hall. Debuting at this year’s PCBC, you’ll get the chance to talk to suppliers and manufacturers about their products, ranging from automation, education, water conservation, energy efficiency, security and technology. After you’ve had the chance to explore products and technology, learn more at the Theater with 20-minute, information-packed presentations throughout the day.

Meetings are a key component at PCBC. If you’re looking for space to meet with clients, the Key Buyers Club offers buyers a place to relax, have meetings in private rooms and a place to facilitate meetings between sellers and buyers.

Need an oasis to relax, meet friends or recharge? Stop by The Yard, a recreational space featuring The Kitchen Restaurant, Cabana Bar, ping pong table, seating and charging stations, social media billboards, a vintage Volkswagen Bus doubling as a photo booth and live music!

The above sessions and floor events are just the tip of the iceberg at what you can expect at this year’s PCBC. Still need to register? Click here and register today. See you in June in San Diego!
