CalStar Products has introduced a line of oversized facing units that can be used for base courses and as accent bands. The 4x8x24-inch bricks enable builders to more easily add design elements in the same color or contrasting colors as the rest of the project. The units are manufactured using a proprietary process that incorporates 40 percent recycled content while using 85 percent less energy and generating 85 percent less CO2 compared to traditional fired bricks.
