Californians turn to green dyes to spruce up parched lawns
Service companies that spray green dye on dead lawns are sprouting up in California, as severe drought is turning lawns into brown patches. The specially formulated grass dye lasts three to six months and is said to be non-toxic. Water use restrictions throughout the state are becoming more stringent as the years-long drought worsens.
