Smaller communities in Wyoming, Massachusetts, and Washington are having problems creating affordable housing

It’s well established that big cities such as New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Boston have a big challenge in creating affordable housing. Some smaller communities including Teton County, Wyoming, Pitkin County, Colo., San Juan County, Wash., and Nantucket, Mass. also face similar woes. These areas appeared on a list of communities with a high price-to-income ratio according to a report by Overflow Data analyzed by Business Insider.
