The awards program from Ivory Innovations seeks to recognize organizations that are creating scalable, affordable, and accessible housing solutions

The 2027 Ivory Prize for Housing Affordability is now accepting nominations. The national award program, led by Ivory Innovations, an academic center based at the University of Utah, recognizes ambitious yet scalable solutions to make housing more affordable and accessible nationwide, according to an announcement from the organization.

The Ivory Prize was first created in 2018 and since then, it has awarded more than $2 billion in funding to organizations that are working to improve housing affordability. Beyond the monetary award, winners receive national recognition, media exposure, and hands-on support from Ivory Innovations.

Those interested in applying for the 2027 Ivory Prize can visit the Ivory Innovations website. Nominations will be accepted until noon MST, Oct. 30.

"Each year, this search brings to light impactful ideas and hardworking people who are dedicated to making a difference in their communities," Ivory Innovations CEO Abby Ivory said. "We love getting to know these individuals and supporting them in whatever ways we can as, together, we strive to make a meaningful impact on housing."
