David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately held home builders, released the winners of its "Partners of Choice" Award for 2013, which recognizes outstanding suppliers from the builder's evaluation system.

David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately held home builders, released the winners of its "Partners of Choice" Award for 2013, which recognizes outstanding suppliers from the builder's evaluation system, which was first implemented in 2004.





The following companies were recognized as winners of the “A,A” Award, achieving excellence in both quality and service:

Boise Cascade Engineered Wood Products
Building Specialties, Dow Chemical
Honeywell, Office Depot
Owens Corning
Rheem
Rinnai
Seacoast Supply
Seybro Doors
Simpson Strong-Tie
Skelton Business Equipment
Square D
Weyerhaeuser
Zurn
 
David Weekley Homes welcomes Rheem and Skelton Business Equipment into the “A,A” circle of honor for the first time.
 
The following companies received an “A” Award, for achieving excellence in either quality or service:  
 
Acme Bricks (“A” in quality)
Carrier (“A” in service)
Eaton (“A” in service),
Home Team Pest Defense (“A” in service)
Johns Manville (“A” in quality)
Moen (“A” in service)
Sherwin-Williams (“A” in service)

David Weekley Homes welcomes Sherwin-Williams into the winner’s circle for the first time.
 
Through a series of evaluations, one-on-one discussions, formalized feedback instruments, coaching sessions and action plans, the unique platform allows David Weekley Homes to analyze supplier performance across all industries. The National Trading Partner Survey measures access, communication, timeliness, reliability, follow-through, confidence levels, and other areas important to the business relationship. 
 
The quarterly survey is a detailed review of David Weekley Homes’ supplier performance as assessed by approximately 600 team members from all levels within the company, and provides trading partners an opportunity to review and improve their channel alignment and performance.
