DeLuca Enterprises Inc., Newtown, Pa., shows its appreciation to Realtors who bring them potential customers by giving away trips to overseas destinations in drawings held four times a year.

Linda Emerson, DeLuca’s director of sales and marketing, says the travel program started in 1996 and will continue indefinitely. To participate, Realtors need only visit a DeLuca community in Pennsylvania or New Jersey and register a client. The grand prize, an all-expenses-paid trip for two, is awarded quarterly. In addition, weekly drawings are held for American Express gift checks.

In past years, destinations have included Italy, England, Spain and the Caribbean, says Emerson. The most recent trips were to Antigua and Rio de Janeiro, with Munich on tap for the next drawing. The program is promoted through quarterly mailings to sales agents. Full-color, trifold brochures and postcards include the company logo and a product photo. A different theme is used each year, says Emerson; this year’s is "We Want To Give You The Sun, The Moon And The Stars."
