The average cost of a four-bedroom, two-bath house in Detroit is just $64,110, making it the most affordable housing market in the U.S. That’s according to a recent Coldwell Banker report, which also ranked Cleveland; Park Forest, Ill.; and Jamestown, N.Y., as affordable places to purchase a home. Each of the top 10 are either in major cities or within commuting distance of a major metropolis.
