A recent study by the online marketing management firm Bokka Group sought to find which digital tools homebuyers use and how they influence buyer behavior.
The study focused on new-home buyers, with respondents roughly equally divided between first-time and repeat buyers.
Analysis of the data found that online reviews are important to buyers, as 78.6 percent of them said that reviews and testimonials are important when considering a home or builder. Buyers also enjoy videos, mobile-friendly websites, and a social media presence from a builder. One takeaway from the survey was to “Consider creating a separate blog around your company specifically for happy customer reviews.”
