The New American Home 2026: Where Innovation Meets Purpose
The New American Home® 2026, one of two official show homes of the Builders’ Show, raises the bar once again in luxury, innovation and sustainable design and function.
As the 43rd edition of the program, and the last to be built in Orlando, this milestone home is pulling out all the stops.
Built by Alair Homes-Orlando, the 9,200-square-foot residence in nearby Winter Park, Fla., features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and an expansive second floor primary suite. The basement premium amenities include a wellness center, theater, wine cellar, game room, and an underground garage for up to 18 cars.
“We’re extremely proud to unveil this year’s show home as a true reflection of what’s next in residential design, where high performance meets high style,” says Daniel Kennerly, a partner at Alair Homes Orlando. “Every detail of the home was thoughtfully crafted to push the envelope in energy efficiency, sustainability and modern livability.”
But this home isn’t just about cutting-edge design. It also supports a powerful cause.
Homeowner Jason Eichenholz, Ph.D., an entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of the Jonathan’s Landing charitable foundation, is making a dollar-for-dollar match for the cost of all items supplied by the building product manufacturers and others that supported the project.
Inspired by his son, Jonathan, a young adult with autism, Eichenholz will donate the funds directly to the Jonathan’s Landing Foundation. The organization aims to develop a comprehensive, intentional community to help autistic adults achieve a high level of purpose and independence, with a goal to create 5,000 jobs and provide housing for people with autism.
“This isn’t just a show home. It’s a statement about what’s possible when innovation and compassion work hand in hand,” he says.
The home will be open for guided tours to registered attendees of IBS 2026. Free tickets for the complimentary shuttle bus to the home and back to the convention center will be distributed at The New American Home booth W40 in the West Hall of the Orange County Convention Center on a first-come, first-served basis each day of the Show, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
