Features Builders Are Including and Excluding in Homes Built This Year

A recent survey from the National Association of Home Builders found whirlpool tubs and outdoor fireplaces as things least likely to be included in a home built this year.

These luxury amenities are making way for energy-efficiency features, such as low-e windows and Energy Star-rated appliances.

Additionally, Realtor.com reports that respondents to the survey said walk-in closets in the master bedroom and a laundry room are the features they are most likely to include in a house built this year.
