FHFA finds new loan rates rise, amount declines

The NAHB reports that according to data from the Federal Housing Finance Agency that even though mortgage interest rates for June slightly declined, it was driven mostly by loans for existing homes. Mortgages for newly built homes, however, increased by a fair amount.
