Construction for the official show home of the 2024 International Builders’ Show is underway in the Ascaya luxury community overlooking the Las Vegas strip. The completed property will include five bedrooms, five and one-half bathrooms, an outdoor kitchen, and a pool courtyard on one level encompassing 7,722-square-feet.
Lead builder Daniel Coletti, president of Sun West Custom Homes, says this year’s project is on track for completion in early October 2023. The home will be debuted during IBS 2024 from Feb. 27 - 29 in Las Vegas, the National Association of Home Builders reports.
While careful not to divulge too much detail, Coletti says that among the aspects he is especially proud of are the angular monoliths featured at the home’s exterior entrance — a design that will be seen throughout the interior of the home as well.
“It’s like a single piece that’s got a cool angle to it,” says Coletti, who is building his third New American Home. “The idea is to set yourself up so that when you come through the house, you’ll feel this [design element] throughout the whole house to give it a sense of continuity.”
