For the homeowner that wants a hearthy home both indoors and outdoors, Heat & Glo introduces its Twilight II fireplace — an indoor-outdoor see-through gas, fireplace. The Twilight II can operate in an interior family room and exterior patio simultaneously by functioning as both a window and a fireplace. The fireplace is designed for a direct-vent installation that allows it to be installed in any room in the home. The direct-vent draws all of its combustion air from outside while expelling exhaust through the exterior facing. The outside face serves as a vent, which eliminates the need for additional venting. This thermal efficient feature ensures the warm air stays in while keeping the cold air out. The Twilight II meets window and gas fireplace ANSI standards and has a hurricane-approval rating. It is also designed to work without an exterior cap, which gives the fireplace an unobstructed view. The Twilight II is 38-cubic feet and has 37,000 BTU's/hr input. It comes with a weatherproofed exterior, ceramic fiber campfire logs and a firebox refractory. The fireplace is available with several options, including a remote control, tempered glass and Heat & Glo Eternal Flame warranty.
