Heat Pump | Lennox

March 14, 2016
This article first appeared in the PB March 2016 issue of Pro Builder.

The XP25 High-Efficiency Heat Pump from Lennox is extremely controllable. The Precise Comfort feature lets owners adjust the pump’s cooling output in 1 percent increments, which lets the home maintain a consistent temperature. The unit can also be modified based on the surrounding climate. The Climate IQ adjusts its airspeed to allow for greater humidity control in warmer regions, yet the system’s startup slows to allow for the air to absorb more heat before circulation in colder areas. The XP25 has SilentComfort technology that makes it twice as quiet as standard heat pumps, and it has Lennox’s iComfort S30 thermostat, which optimizes energy efficiency and saves homeowners money on utility bills.
