The new line of Climate 5000 Ductless Minisplit Heat Pump Systems from Bosch is quiet, efficient, and easy to install. The inverter-driven heat pump systems function across an operating range from –13° F to 122° F and produce indoor sound levels as low as 20 dBA in “silent” mode. A Follow Me feature uses a remote sensor to adjust heating and cooling based on a user’s location, and a Turbo feature quickly creates comfortable temperatures. The systems have a seasonal energy-efficiency ratio (SEER) rating of up to 22, eight points higher than EPA minisplit requirements. The unit needs only a 3-inch-diameter opening to run the entire line set, with no ductwork required. Both single- and multi-zone systems are available.
