Home Designer Collection Windows Standard Feature at Royal Oaks Homes

By Hy-Lite, a U.S. Block Windows Company April 27, 2017

Want to increase your home sales? Then follow the lead of Royal Oaks Homes. The North Carolina builder sets itself apart in their competitive marketplace by offering what some refer to as "upgrade options" as their standard features. From enhanced drywall to trim packages to decorative glass windows, Royal Oaks Homes makes it impossible for homeowners to turn away from their attractive standard home elements.

"Homeowners are drawn to the stunning upgrades we include in all our homes," says Shannon Flinn, design center manager for Royal Oaks Homes. "For example, when they come in our Design Center and see that we provide Home Designer Collection privacy windows as our standard bathroom choices, they're blown away. They appreciate having the choice of the Baroque, Mission and Prairie window styles. This really lets them personalize their master bathroom setting."

Each of the 15 Royal Oaks Homes communities in Raleigh and Fayetteville, N.C. feature Hy-Lite privacy windows as a standard product selection. The windows are showcased in more than a dozen model homes and in the Design Center. The master bathroom windows include a large 48" x 48" window over the tub and a 48" x 12" transom in the elegant master shower. As an upgrade option, homebuyers can select from different Hy-Lite windows including: Wrought Iron, Victorian, Brilliance and Aurora.

"Our company has found that the Hy-Lite windows have a good price point for our homes and are cost effective," says Flinn. "Using the Hy-Lite windows instead of clear glass sets us apart. People embrace the Hy-Lite windows because they're looking for both privacy and style in the homes they're designing.

"We sell about 400 houses each year. The simplistic Prairie window is the number one choice of our home buyers. The Baroque window, with its geometric shapes, is a close second.  We've discovered that since these Home Designer Collection windows are so nice we don't see many people purchasing the upgrade options. That's a true testimonial to the window quality and style design of the Prairie, Baroque and Mission windows."

At the 4,000-square-foot Design Center for Royal Oaks, Flinn and her associates work hard to provide home buyers with a variety of sensible and stylish options --- especially when it comes to designing bathrooms. "We help people select tubs, tile, shower doors and even plumbing fixtures to match their personal style," says Flinn. "When we show the Hy-Lite window options to our clients their reaction is swift and positive. They appreciate how the windows can unite the look and feel of a room while offering them the privacy they desire."

Home Designer Collection windows (which also includes a Metro style) come in a variety of sizes, including 48" x 48", 48" x 12", 36" x 60" and 24" x 24". The vinyl-framed windows feature silkscreened tempered glass with textured exterior privacy glass.
